Although Face It Counseling does not take my insurance, can I still schedule an appointment?

Yes!  Face It Counseling accepts payments from debit cards, major credit cards, and customers with a Paypal account.  If you have out of network benefits with your insurance company, we are more than willing to provide you with the required service receipts for reimbursement.

Does Face It Counseling offer a sliding fee discount program?

Yes!  Face It Counseling strives to provide Biblically-based counseling, therapy, and training to any individual or family seeking hope.  If you are experiencing financial hardship and/or living on a fixed income, no worries.  We will work with you to determine a fair fee that you can afford.

What is the difference between counseling and therapy?

Counseling is short-term, professional guidance to address a particular problem or situation in life.  We equip our counseling clients with the tools and techniques needed to develop the mindset and skills to face the darkest of issues without sacrificing their peace and wellbeing.

 

Therapy (short for psychotherapy) is long-term, professional guidance to address underlying problems that run much deeper than a present situation in life.  We help our therapy clients peel back their layers and restore dignity wherever it was lost so that they can move forward with a healthy view of themselves and the world around them.

What can I expect as a new client?

Upon completing your booking online, you will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm your appointment and provide a little pre-work before your first session or training.  Intake paperwork will be emailed to counseling/therapy clients to complete.  Training participants will be given a questionnaire to help customize their experience.
